Associate Membership Program The Fire Safe Council of San Diego County offers an Associate Membership Program whereby Community Fire Safe Council members who are approved can serve as non-voting advisors to the Board of Directors. One At-Large council person is selected from all the Associate Members to sit as a voting member of the Board of Directors. Active participation in the Associate Membership Program is highly encouraged. Your Community Fire Safe Council’s opinions, concerns and activities are not only important to us and your community, but they are germane to what we are striving to accomplish. Without everyone’s involvement, we are less focused in achieving our goals. Working together as partners, we can utilize our combined experience, expertise and common objectives to ensure our homes, businesses and communities are well-protected from the perils of wildfire.
